24H Impedance pHMetry

The study with special Impedance pHmetry catheters allows the determination of reflux episodes (acid, weakly acid and non-acid) in terms of frequency, duration, time of onset and correlation with the patient’s symptoms. It is especially indicated for the study of non-acid gastro-esophageal reflux, to assess the efficacy of treatments for gastro-esophageal reflux disease and for the evaluation of surgical treatment.
